The most recent Astounding Space Thrills publication, ASTOUNDING SPACE THRILLS: Argosy Smith and the Codex Reckoning (Published by IDW) has been nominated for a Harvey Award for Best Domestic Reprint Project. This year's Harvey Awards ceremenoy will be held October 10th in conjunction with the Baltimore Comic-Con.

Astounding Space Thrills is action and adventure, satire and social commentary, humor and heroes hopping from medium to medium -- designed to entertain a worldwide audience and take full advantage of the evolving and converging media.
Astounding Space Thrills is the brainchild and labor of love of Steve Conley, the web design innovator behind the launch of USATODAY.com in 1995 and hundreds of other web sites. (Visit Conley Interactive for more information about Steve's web development work.)
In 1997, AST made its debut simultaneosly in print as a self-published comic book and on the web as one of the earliest animated Flash 'webisodes'. Over the next two years (while Steve was also Co-creating with cartoonist Rick Veitch, the incredibly popular COMICON.com web site) AST steadily gained momentum and exploded in March, 1999 when Steve developed 'Tooncasting" - a new distribution model for online comic strips. Since then, Astounding Space Thrills: The Daily Adventures, a full-color, daily online comic strip, has been seen more than 4 million times around the world.
More than 1,000 web sites carried the syndicated Astounding Space Thrills daily comic strip bringing the monthly viewings to more than 800,000 during its initial "tooncast" self-syndication!
AST continues to earn praise not only for its fun stories, vivid characters and terrific art but as a technological achievement as well.
